WCWB provides women with coaching, training, and technical assistance starting and building their businesses. We understand the challenges a small women-owned business faces, which made us interested in working with WCWB on their website redesign and branding.
In collaboration with WCWB, August Creative embarked on a project to craft a vibrant and inviting website to align with WCWB's mission of inclusion and empowerment for women-identifying entrepreneurs and business owners. Recognizing the overwhelming nature of managing a small business with an endless list of to-dos and requirements, our design approach prioritized simplicity, clear presentation, and accessibility. The resulting website not only reflects WCWB's commitment to inclusivity and support but also serves as a user-friendly hub for entrepreneurs navigating the sometimes bumpy landscape of business ownership.
Serving as a dynamic media hub, the site keeps the community engaged by featuring a calendar of events, webinars, training videos and the latest addition to WCWB's offerings – the "Inspire Podcast." This multifaceted digital space reflects WCWB's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for women-owned businesses to thrive.
Within the dedicated "Inspire Conference" site, August Creative meticulously crafted an immersive experience, incorporating speaker introductions, a comprehensive conference agenda, and an array of user-friendly signup buttons. To meet the unique demands of this project, we harnessed the power of Webflow to customize the Content Management System (CMS) to accommodate the WCWB's staff and leadership needs, abilities, and vision. This bespoke CMS empowers WCWB to manage and update content in-house, ensuring that the conference site remains a dynamic and engaging hub for attendees for years to come.
